I had almost a case full of mason jars left over from the time my husband wanted to pickle some tomatoes. We couldn’t find individual ones so we ended up with a set of twelve to pickle two jars of tomatoes. They’ve been sitting in the pantry waiting to be assigned a purpose for a while now.
Went to my Pinterest boards and found a simple, but very useful role for some of the jars to play…………. Four of the jars are now the storehouses for an herb garden-they will soon bring forth: cilantro, sage, rosemary, and lemon drop basil. Going to see how these babies fare before I add some more to the family. If this post has inspired you to make your own mason jar herb garden, you can find out more about the what’s and how to’s by checking out the pin on my “Taking Care of Home” board under my pinner name Weekly Inspiration(pintdf74).
